Routine No 803 - Stress management
Write a gratitude journal.
Writing is a great way to process your emotions. By writing down what you are grateful for each day, you focus your attention on what is positive in your life. Write down three things every night before you go to bed and see if it helps you find a sense of calm and security that helps you sleep better.
WHY IT HELPS:
When you let go of negative thoughts, it becomes easier to relax. Lower stress levels contribute to the production of the sleep hormone melatonin, helping you fall asleep quickly and sleep well so you wake up refreshed.
